Borj in Africa is a projected initiated by some Belgian people in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Have 2 ‘adpoted’ kids over there: Siswe and Sheena. Contrasts in Plettenberg are quite stunning. The cost of ‘adpoting’ a kid is 250 € per year. The whole support scheme is centered around education, which normally these kids would never be able to cater for. Born in Afric supports by way of (i) paying for education (ii) paying the school uniform (iii) pay the school material (iv) organisaing after school activities (v) social guidance (vi) organising daytrips.
