Immersive design

More than ever I believe in a seamless integration of technology and communication in our daily environment. The traditional concepts of our homes just make no sense anymore. Why do I have a ‘living room’ with a table and six chairs? Why don’t I have a coffee-lounge room in my office instead of a TV corner I never use (I watch TV on my computer while working), ever counted who many times people really use the x thousand Euro home theater installation they installed?
Which is why the ‘Céleste’ design of Kris Van Den Berghe makes all the sense. We all have our laptops with DVD players; we all have Wifi connected through our house.
Imagine chatting in your bed on wide-screen, switching to the DVD on your laptop…
Contacting Kris to be featured on Design Boudoir next October. More on Design Boudoir the coming weeks; BlogFactory currently working on the site.
This is what I call talent; thumbs up, kris !
