The Wall Street Journal suggests that Time Warner Cable and Sprint are near to signing a wireless deal. Nothing revolutionary (cf. Telenet & Base, Scarlet & Base,…); in the 90’s Comcast already tried a convergent offer.
But Time Warner would be the first to offer a quadruple bundle including data, video, VoIP and cellular. The offer will start in Q1 2005 In Kanvas City.

More important, this would be another step toward seamless communications for the consumer — come home, pop the cell phone in a cradle, have it switch immediately to the home system. Use your cable modem at home; automatically switch to wireless when you’re outside the home with your laptop without adding subscriptions.
