He had ‘a server’ on which he could ‘run Portugal’. We have 68.000 members in Portugal and expand at a 30% monthly rate….
Eventually his ’server’ appeared to be some 100 US$ shared hosting account, which he considered to be ‘massive’. Oh, yes, we kindly reply to those mails…

Few people actually grasp what it is to run these Blogging platforms. In matters of traffic all Blogging platforms together must represent a considerable amount of the total Internet infrastructure; just check the top 3.000 in Pubsub. Last week Bart of Dommel asked me if I actually realised what we are running, the largest site in Belgium in terms of international transit. Admitted, we rather forget what would happen if more than 130.000 visitors daily would have to miss their PhotoBlog. By whiles very scary indeed.
