Amazon A9 launches open search
30 03 2005I’m visiting it more often. Now Amazon boss Jeff Bezos announced OSRSS, which stands for Open Search RSS, a small set of extensions to RSS that enable vertical search. Users can now add any search engine they want to their A9 page and have those results display in A9 alongside Google or Amazon search results. To facilitate this, they now support displaying search results from any search engine that can provide search results as RSS.
In the pdf below an example of a search I did on Plettenberg.
Meanwhile Bezos bought a piece of land in Texas from where he’ll ignite his Blue Origin spacecraft.
