my top 20 movie list today and realised it only features 3 American movies now.
I had planned to see Gegen die Wand (Head-on in English, again an awful translation), but eventually skipped when all the fuss on Sibel Kekilli started. All the German olalala when Das Bild discovered her previous performances plainly irritated me at the time. And when seeing the movie, the fact that Sibel Kekilli had starred in pornos is unimportant. Better to go from pornos to the “Oscar” than the other way round.”

PS bookmark Matchpoint, the first Woody Allen movie I might sit out till the end; hope they don’t dub it in Brazil.
