After weeks of absurd Brazilian Fandango dances and enormous pressure from abroad, the Brazilian Aeronoutics had to reveal their findings to the public.
End I’m so delighted seeing all the Brazilian absurd arguments eventually damping and Defense Minister Waldir Pires finalling sinking in his own swamps taking the pride of the whole Brazilian nation with him. You can run, but you can’t hide there Waldir, especially now that the whole world can hear that your own retarted air traffic controllers said in Portuguese (yes, Brazil, English is really the international accepted language in Aeronautics) “o senhor sobe a 37 mil pés e voa até Manaus“; every person reading this blog will undersand that this means that the Legacy pilots could fly at 37.000 feet from Brazilia to Manaus. Even without this information we all knew already that the Legacy pilots were not to blame because when they lost contact flying at 37.000 feet any pilot should stay on it’s current course and the controllers should have put the GOL Boeing to the right, left, higher or lower since they did had contact with the GOL Boeing.
Some updates:
1. The American Legacy tried to make 19 (!!!) contacts with the traffic controllers.
2. Apparently the infrastructure of air traffic controllers seems to be completely outdated. Your retarded minister of Defense claimed with his big proud mouth after the day of the crash that the system was the most modern in the world.
3. The commander of the Aeronautics, Luis Carlo Bueno is giving up his dance of 53 days denying.
No, I’m not enjoying this. I’m just ashamed. I associate myself a lot with Brazil, but on moments like these I feel ashamed. Which Brazilian (journalist) dared to critize the Brazilian Aeronautics, controllers or any Brazilian-related instance in the first weeks? Nobody. Like as it was a soccer game each Brazilian defended collectively green and yellow and burning two innocent American pilots; like as it was a medieval witch-inquisition. It is only thanks to people like Joe Sharkey; who publicly offended the absurdly inhumane Brazilian minister of defence. 10 years ago the American pilots would have been emprisoned and falsely judged for the sake of the Brazilian pride and defending the colors. Now there is fast open communication, open individual criticism and stubborn people (unfortunately no Brazilians) who even after 53 days don’t let go and seek the truth and nothing but the truth.
Meanwhile the American jet is taken (who knows next year a son of a Brazilian minister will fly it over the Amazon), the minister Defense soothens the Brazilians that there is no risk for another accident, the Americans pilots are still emprisoned and will probably (hopefully) soon be released through a quiet backdoor without any press coverage, let be a ’sorry for the 2 months of horror’. And the Brazilian people? They watch their television and switch of their minds, instead of realising that it is exactly on these moments that one defends it’s colors by:
- Massively asking Defense Minister Waldir Pires and commander of the Aeronautics Luiz Carlos Bueno to step down.
- Publicly laugh at the families who opened a trial against the American pilots instead of suing their own government.
- Ask your own president to send openly a letter of excuse to the American pilots.
- Stop buying Veja magazine, they lie and make your country ridiculous.By closing your eyes and staying quiet not much will happen. I wish you strength.
Picture: the cover of Veja, one of the major BR Magazines, 7 weeks ago. It reads: “The real story of the flight 1907. Two young American pilots. A new airplane. A flight over the Amazonian on a sunny afternoon. They tought they could do anything. And then happened the tragedy.” Mind the “real story”… I wonder what their cover next week will be; probably Brazilian tits or boops.

“Que eles fiquem na cadeia”, acrescentou. O pai de Doug disse não compreender por que a mídia dos Estados Unidos tem dado pouca atenção ao caso.
De acordo com Paul, o governo brasileiro tem de controlar toda a apuração do desastre. “Eu sei que os Estados Unidos querem proteger seus cidadãos.
Mas, se houve negligência, os pilotos devem ser responsabilizados”, sustentou.
Ele considera egoísta a atitude do jornalista norte-americano Joe Sharkey — o sobrevivente do Legacy insiste em culpar o controle do tráfego aéreo da Amazônia e diz que os pilotos Joseph Lepore e Jan Paladino são seus heróis.

I agree with all of this. but, Joe Sharkey shouldn’t have fanned the flames as much as he did in the beginning. It really pissed alot of Brazilians off, and it made the situation worse in the beginning. Not saying he’s not right, I just think he should have been a little more diplomatic about it.
This is only the top of a enormous iceberg. Unfortunately the true brazilian´s problems are deeply under this bloody ocean. The fact is that Brazil has been an orphan country, ever since Luis Inácio Lula da Silva became its president.All this tragedy cant be dropped over the young american pilots, if they made something wrong, that was for sure because of aeronautic controller´s terrible quality. Brazil has been living in this caos since 3 or 4 years ago. The tragedy with the Boeng and Legacy only came to wake up a giant hidden vulcano. That is a shame, but that is the truth. And the truth has to be accepted in order it can be changed. I am brazilian, and for sure, this is the worst plane crash we´ve ever seen in our country. Most of brazilian are chocked with this happenings and we know that we dont live in a perfect country.All we dont want is that accidents like that happens again, and that justice be done, no matter who the guilties are.
